J’ai déjà parlé des étapes de mémorisation plus en détail dans cet article.
Cette fois-ci je vais parler de l’étape qui vient au début de toute mémorisation.
Pour simplifier il existe 3 étapes toutes simples.
Etape 1 : Avoir l’intention de mémoriser l’information.
Qu’on va détailler dans cet article
Etape 2 : Mémoriser l’information.
Cela est réalisé en convertissant l’information en images
Etape 3 : Fixer l’information.
Pour la garder en tête pendant longtemps

C’est l’étape 1 que je n’ai pas détaillée dans l’article précédent.
Parce que je voulais la laisser pour un sujet complet.
L’intention de mémoriser ça veut dire quoi concrètement ? Et pourquoi ça devrait vous intéresser ?
Quand vous utilisez une image pour mémoriser une information qui n’a rien à voir avec l’information en question,
C’est l’intention de mémoriser qui relie les deux.
Cela s’applique même pour les informations générales non converties en images
Toutes les choses desquelles vous ne vous rappelez pas, c’est souvent parce qu’en premier lieu vous n’aviez pas l’intention de les mémoriser
Exemple
Quand vous rencontrez une personne pour la première fois et que vous oubliez son nom quelques secondes plus tard.
C’est généralement parce que vous n’aviez pas une très forte intention de le mémoriser.
Cela est autant plus important dans l’utilisation des techniques de mémorisation.
Vous devez toujours avoir l’intention de mémoriser les images créées et surtout leurs relations avec l’information d’origine.
L’image d’un couteau, d’une table, d’un t-shirt n’ont aucune signification en eux-même s’ils ne sont pas reliés à des informations utiles.
Cela devient plus important quand l’information à mémoriser
1- Est complexe,
2-Qu’elle contient plein d’images,
3-Que les images ne la définissent pas directement (symbolisation)
C’est là que l’intention entre devient essentielle.
Par exemple
L’information Rhinophyma
Qui sera divisée en deux
Rhino/phyma
Rhino : Rhinocéros
phyma : fuma (verbe :fumer)
On imagine un Rhinocéros qui fume
Comme vous le voyez l’image n’est pas directement liée à l’information
Spécialement pour la partie phyma, qui est représentée par fuma.
Ce qui risque de se produire c’est que vous pouvez oublier l’information mais pas l’image,
On oublie que très rarement l’image, par contre l’information liée à l’image peut vous échapper
L’image peut vous faire penser à :
Rhino/fume,
Rhino/tabac
Rhino/cigarette
Vous aurez probablement une expérience très frustrante si vous vous souvenez de l’image mais non de l’information qui lui correspond.
Comment appliquer l’intention à la mémorisation ?
Il y a trois étapes pour appliquer l’intention à la mémorisation
1-Vous visualisez l’image et vous vous répétez l’information à vous-même,
Par exemple
Vous imaginez un rhinocéros avec une cigarette et vous vous répétez à vous-même : Rhinophyma
2-Vous faites cela 3 à 4 fois, pour bien lier information et images
3-Si l’image ne vous ramène pas directement à l’information d’origine après quelques tentatives changez la
Par exemple si la cigarette ne vous rappelle pas phyma, vous pouvez la changer par Fila, ou diviser encore le mot en deux phy/ma.
En faisant cela vous évitez de vous retrouver avec une image sans signification.
Conclusion
A mes débuts avec les techniques de mémorisation je faisais l’erreur de ne pas répéter l’information pour bien la fixer à l’image.
Je me retrouvais avec des images dont j’ignorais totalement la signification
Pour éviter de tomber dans ce piège appliquez l’intention
Prenez juste ces quelques secondes de plus pour bien lier images et infos, .
La prochaine fois que vous mémorisez une information très compliquée, ou dont l’image n’est pas intuitive
Prenez quelques extra-secondes pour bien lier les deux dans votre cerveau
