Peu importe votre sujet d’études, domaines, nombre de cours et chapitres on pourra toujours diviser les informations à mémoriser en 5 niveaux,
Etape 04 : Identifier les 05 niveaux d’informations de vos cours
1- Le premier niveau
Le premier niveau d’information pour n’importe quel type de matériel que vous étudiez est l’idée principale ou le point général du livre ou la leçon.
Il est probable que vous pourriez naturellement l’identifier avec une bonne prévisualisation globale du document à mémoriser, sans pour autant tout lire de A à Z.
2- Le deuxième niveau
Le prochain niveau d’information serait d’apprendre le point principal de chaque chapitre ou unité du livre ou leçon.
Un livre avec 10 chapitres contiendra alors 10 idées de deuxième niveau.
3- Le troisième niveau
Chaque chapitre contiendra encore plus d’idées principales,
Par exemple un livre de 10 chapitres pourra contenir
- 05 idées principales pour le chapitre 01
- 10 pour le chapitre 02
- 15 pour le chapitre 03
- etc…
En fonction des livres, les chapitres peuvent contenir peu ou énormément d’idées
4-Le quatrième niveau
à ce point là on arrive aux idées des paragraphes de chaque chapitre.
Un chapitre va convenir un grand nombre de paragraphes, et chaque paragraphe peut contenir généralement une à 2 idées importantes.
5- Le cinquième niveau
Chaque paragraphe en plus de contenir une idée générale va aussi contenir des détails.
Dans votre situation où vous devez être prêt pour un examen dans un minimum de temps,
Il n’est pas nécessaire de toujours travailler au cinquième niveau (qui demande généralement le plus de travail).

Vous pouvez les faire avec un papier et stylo ou avec un logiciel.
En règle générale les Mind Map préparés à la main sont mieux mémorisés que ceux avec logiciel.
Pour les exemples de cet article, je vais utiliser un logiciel de Mind Map.
Principe des Mind Map
Vous commencez par mettre le nom du chapitre au milieu, et les idées principales de chaque chapitre en branche,
Mettez les idées du niveau deux dans chaque branche correspondante,
Vous pouvez avec ce Mind Map aller jusqu’à niveau trois,
Mais je recommande de faire un Mind Map spéciale, avec l’idée principale du chapitre, et les autres idées secondaires .

Évidemment ceci est juste un exemple à suivre, vous allez modifier vos Mind Map en fonction des informations que vous cherchez à mémoriser,
N’oubliez pas d’ajouter des figures couleurs et symboles à vos Mind Map pour bien les mémoriser.
Maintenant si vous avez une certaine maîtrise des méthodes de mémorisation vous pouvez très bien faire cela avec la méthode des Loci
Etape 06 : Identifier les informations importantes à mémoriser
Voyant maintenant comment choisir les informations importantes à mémoriser.
1- S’il y a un résumé de chapitre, des tableaux , des mots-clés, ou des questions au sujet du chapitre à la fin, ceci devrait être lu en premier et utilisé comme guide de lecture du chapitre.
2- S’il n’y a pas de résumé de chapitre ou de questions, il existe d’autres approches.
Pensez à l’examen du point de vue de l’enseignant
Quel genre de questions demande-t-il ? détails, concepts, résolution de problèmes, vocabulaire ?
Si vous étiez en train d’écrire l’examen, comment le feriez-vous ?
3- Vous pouvez identifier une question par page (20 questions, 20 pages, ou ajuster en fonction des pages).
Il peut y avoir cinq divisions principales dans le chapitre, de longueur égale ou inégale.
Vous pouvez essayer de trouver les idées ou points principaux dans chaque section.
C’est le moment de décider à quel niveau d’information vous devez lire et étudier le matériel.
4- Si vous le pouvez, discutez avec votre professeur et cherchez à savoir ce qu’il attend que vous appreniez, ce qui «compte» ce qui le plus important.

Quoique vous décidiez, diviser le matériel en fonction de ce but prédéterminé.
