Utiliser la méthode retour pour mémoriser un paragraphe
Dans cet article je vais vous détailler une nouvelle méthode de mémorisation “La méthode retour”
L’intérêt principal de cette technique est d’éviter la préparation d’un grand nombre d’objets de stockage.
Vous savez maintenant qu’une fois vos données converties en images, elles doivent être placé dans des objets de stockage pour être mémorisées,
Le gros problème avec les objets de stockage
C’est qu’elles sont limitées
On commence très vite à manquer d’objet où stocker nos informations dans un palais.
Par exemple un palais contenant 50 objets de stockage ne contiendra que 50 informations
La méthode retour permet de faire face à ce problème
Elle permet d’économiser un maximum d’informations dans un nombre réduit d’objets.
Passant maintenant à l’explication de cette méthode.
Pour cela nous allons utiliser un exemple tout simple,
Exemple
Imaginant que nous voulons mémoriser cette série d’objets sans utiliser d’objet de stockage,
C’est-à-dire aucune autre image à part les images des objets dans la liste.
Pot de fleurs – une chaise – un plat – une fenêtre – une voiture – un vélo- une boîte-aux-lettres- une montre- des chaussures – un lit – une télévision – des haltères – un crayon.
Remarque
Il est certain que vous ne serez jamais amené à mémoriser une série de mots sans aucune relation pour vos études, je vais vous donner un exemple concret d’utilisation de la méthode à la fin de l’article.
Le principe de la méthode retour
Son principe consiste à utiliser la première image de la série comme un objet de stockage,
Dans notre exemple le pot de fleurs est le premier objet de liste
Le pot de fleurs va ainsi nous servir à mémoriser les autres objets de la liste.
Nous lui ajouter 3 autres objets de la liste :
La chaise, le plat, la fenêtre
Ces objets seront ajoutés à celle du pot de fleurs à trois endroits différents
La chaise est ajoutée en haut du pot de fleurs, le plat au milieu et la fenêtre en bas, le pot de fleur est maintenant un objet de stockage
Que faire avec les objets restant de la liste ?
C’est à ce niveau-là que la méthode retour est intéressante
Le dernier objet de la première images (la fenêtre) sera utilisé à son tour comme objet de stockage à nouveau.
On s’imagine zoomer sur la fenêtre l’agrandir dans notre imagination et lui ajoute les 03 objets suivants.
La voiture-Le vélo-La boîte aux lettres
Pour la suite c’est la boîte aux lettres qui sera utilisée comme nouvelle objet de stockage et contiendra elle aussi les 03 objets suivants.
La montre- Les chaussures-Le lit
Maintenant que j’ai expliqué son principe, je dois vous montrer comment mettre cette méthode en pratique
Utiliser la méthode retour pour mémoriser un paragraphe
Une des nombreuses applications de la méthode retour c’est de l’utiliser pour mémoriser un paragraphe sans avoir besoin d’objet de stockage
Exemple
Imaginant que nous cherchons à mémoriser ce paragraphe
De l’auto-hypnose, nous en faisons tout le temps sans le savoir. Rêver en regardant les vagues, en regardant le ciel étoilé, et nous voilà plongés dans nos pensées. Qui de nous n’a pas l’expérience d’avoir été tellement absorbé dans un bon bouquin qu’il n’a pas entendu qu’on lui parlait.
Les étapes de l’application de la méthode retour
Voyant voir maintenant les différentes étapes pour l’application de la méthode retour
Etape 01 : Convertir l’idée générale en images
Tout d’abord on va choisir l’idée générale du passage
Ici le paragraphe porte sur l’auto-hypnose, nous allons ainsi utiliser une image symbolisant cela
Ceci sera notre premier objet de stockage, qui va contenir toutes les autres informations
Etape 02 : Convertir les idées en images
Nous allons maintenant revenir au paragraphe et convertir les idées importantes en image
De l’auto-hypnose, nous en faisons tout le temps sans le savoir.
Pour représenter cette idée je vais utiliser 2 images
Tout le temps = une horloge
Sans le savoir = un point d’interrogation
Je réunis les deux images en une seule
Rêver en regardant les vagues,
là aussi je vais utiliser deux images;
Rêver = un oreiller
En regardant les vagues = une vague
Effectivement l’image d’une vague sur un oreiller est très étrange mais plus c’est étrange plus vous allez vous en rappelez
en regardant le ciel étoilé,
Ici une seule image suffira celle d’une étoile
Etape 03 : Réunir les images en une seule
Dans cette dernière étape nous allons appliquer la méthode retour, en ajoutant les 03 images créées à la première
Pour mémoriser cette image, il vous suffit de visualiser les objets et vous répétez les informations à vous-même.
Que faire ensuite ?
L’étoile sera le nouvel objet de stockage, et elle va contenir les informations restantes du passage.
et nous voilà plongés dans nos pensées. Qui de nous n’a pas l’expérience d’avoir été tellement absorbé dans un bon bouquin qu’il n’a pas entendu qu’on lui parlait.

Conclusion
La méthode retour vous offre la possibilité de mémoriser sans utiliser d’objet de stockage
Mais comme avec toutes les autres méthodes aucune technique ne peut être utilisée seule pour mémoriser un texte ou cours au complet
Il faut toujours mélanger et mixer les techniques entre-elles.
